A young teenager, Vernon Eddins Jr., life is turned upside down since birth. Bombarded by trauma and clinging onto secrets that will hound him continuously throughout his teenage years. Constantly harassed, humiliated and preyed upon, Vernon cries for help that goes unheard by those assigned to protect the innocent in Union City, California. The series will shine a light on the growing racial tensions between ethnicities and the failure of school administration and law enforcement efforts to halt a cycle of violence ultimately leading to tragedy.
