Vanessa Poolian is a songwriter and vocalist based in the city of Bristol, UK. Her main genre of music is classic soul, but she has been known to incorporate other styles into her portfolio, such, funk, jazz and latin and soulful rock.
Her recent collaborations are with Anders Olinder (who has worked with PP Arnold, Elliott Randall, Glenn Hughes) and Jill Saward (lead singer of Shakatak). Her mellow composition of the track, “Movin’ On” co-written with Anders Olinder, is being played on several soul radio stations across the globe (which Jill Saward has also covered).
She is the lead singer of the international collective, “Soul Emotive” and writes lyrics and melodies to anything that is said to “move her at a soul level”. “
