Every country and every nation has its own people, language, religion, and culture, and they are called by different names too. Take the case of the Yashar'e'liym (Israelites), for example; they are also called Jewish and Ivriy (Hebrew). One thing that never ceases to amaze me is how many different theories there are regarding what happened to the lost tribes of Yashar'el (Israel). There are many different groups who claim to be the true descendants of the biblical Yashar'e'liym. When people refer to the “lost tribes of Yashar'el,” they usually have in mind the ten tribes of the Northern Kingdom that fell to Ashshurah (Assyria) about 722 BC. These tribes are Re'uven (Reuben), Shim'on (Simeon), Leviy (Levi), Dan, Naphtaliy, Gad, Asher, Yisshakar (Issachar), Zevulun (Zebulun), and Yoceph (Joseph) (whose tribe was divided into the tribes of Ephrayim and Manasseas). Most of the people of the Northern Kingdom were deported to ancient Ashshurah. Then the king of Ashshur came up throughout all the land, and went up to Shomeron, and besieged it three years. In the ninth year of Husha the king of Ashshur took Shomeron, and carried Yashar'el away into Ashshurah, and placed them in Chalach and in Chavor by the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Madai. For so it was, that the children of Yashar'el had sinned against Yahuah Elohayhem, which had brought them up out of the land of Mitsrayim, from under the hand of Phar'oh king of Mitsrayim, and had feared other elohiym, And walked in the statutes of the heathen, whom Yahuah cast out from before the children of Yashar'el, and of the kings of Yashar'el, which they had made. And the children of Yashar'el did secretly those things that were not right against Yahuah Elohayhem, and they built them high places in all their cities, from the tower of the Natsariym to the fenced city. And they set them up images and Asherah poles in every high hill, and under every green tree. And there they burnt incense in all the high places, as did the heathen whom Yahuah carried away before them; and wrought wicked things to provoke Yahuah to anger: For they served idols, whereof Yahuah had said unto them, Ye shall not do this thing. Yet Yahuah testified against Yashar'el, and against Yahudah, by all the prophets, and by all the seers, saying, Turn ye from your evil ways, and guard my commandments and my statutes, according to all the Torah which I commanded your fathers, and which I sent to you by my servants the prophets. Notwithstanding they would not hear, but hardened their necks, like to the neck of their fathers, that did not believe in Yahuah Elohayhem. And they rejected his statutes, and his covenant that he cut with their fathers, and את his testimonies which he testified against them; and they followed vanity, and became vain, and went after the heathen that were round about them, concerning whom Yahuah had charged them, that they should not do like them. And they left all the commandments of Yahuah Elohayhem, and made them molten images, even two calves, and made an Asherah pole, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served Ba`al. And they caused their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire, and used divination and enchantments, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of Yahuah, to provoke him to anger. Therefore Yahuah was very angry with Yashar'el, and removed them out of his sight: there was none left but the tribe of Yahudah only. Also Yahudah did not guard the commandments of Yahuah Elohayhem, but walked in the statutes of Yashar'el which they made. And Yahuah rejected all the seed of Yashar'el, and afflicted them, and delivered them into the hand of spoilers, until he had cast them out of his sight. MELEKIYM SHENIY (2 KINGS) 17:5-20 את CEPHER Many of the Jews who remained in the land intermarried with people from Kuthah, Kuth (Cutha), Ivvah (Ava), Chamath (Hamath), and Cepharvayim (Sepharvaim) who had been sent by the Assyrian king to inhabit Shomeron (Samaria). The ten northern tribes of Yashar'el were either wiped out or assimilated into other people groups. This narrative, however, is based on inference and assumption rather than on direct Torah and Cepher Yarah (teaching).
The Ivriy (Hebrew) Yashar'e'liym (Israelite) movement is rooted in Black Judaism, a belief system birthed in the late 1800s by black Christians from the South's Pentecostal "Holiness" movement. They claimed to have received a revelation: America's recently emancipated slaves were YAHUAH Elohiym chosen people, the true Ivriy. Four “founding mothers” who lived in Europe a thousand years ago were the ancestors of two fifths of all Ashkenazi (European origin) Jews. This is the conclusion of a team of researchers at the Technion &;Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, after they compared DNA sequences from nearly 2000 Jews with those of 11,500 non–Jewish people in 67 different populations around the world.
The remaining 60% were found to have much more heterogeneous genetic origins. British-Israelism (also known as Anglo-Israelism) claims that the ancient Israelites migrated to England and other parts of Europe. As a result, the people of England and the United States are the true Israelites. “Jewish” is the word used to refer to everything that relates to the culture and religion of the Jews. It includes their nationality, ethnicity, religion, and traditions. The State of Yashar'el is established as a Jewish nation whose people have claimed to be descendants of Avraham (Abraham), Yitschaq (Isaac), and Ya'aqov (Jacob). The word “Jew” from which the word “Jewish” is derived, comes from the Middle English word “gyw” which in turn came from the French word “giu” or “juieu.” They all stemmed from the Latin word “Judaeus” meaning “Judean” or “from the land of (Judea).” The origin of the word, however, was the Aramaic “Y’huddai” from the Hebrew word “Yehudi” which is the term used to refer to a member of the tribe of Yahudah, the fourth son of Ya'aqov. The terms “Black Ivriy” and “Black Yashar'e'liym refer as a categorical whole to several independent sub-sects whose unifying characteristic is that their members are of black African descent who claim Ivriy / Avraham ancestry. Apart from this unifying characteristic, however, these sub-sects are very distinct from one another. Members of the Original African Yashar'el Nation of Yerushaliym (Jerusalem) (or the African Yashar'e'liym, for short) believe that, after the Romaiy (Roman) expulsion of the Jews from the land of Yashar'el, many Jews migrated to West Africa. From there, their descendants were transported by slave ship to the United States, where the group began in the 1960s. According to this view, the biblical Ivriy of the Old Testament times had multiracial descendants. The word “Ivriy,” is used to refer to a descendant of Avraham or an Yashar'e'liym. It is also used to refer to their cultural and religious ties and those who have converted to Judaism. It is more often used to refer to the ancient Kena'aniym (Canaanite) language of the Yashar'e'liym. It is the official language of the State of Yashar'el but is also used by Shomeroniy (Samaritans) and other non-Jewish groups. There are many forms of the Ivriy language: one is classical Ivriy which is used for prayer and study; and the other one is modern Ivriy which is spoken by most of the Jewish people and the official language of Yashar'el.
There are also groups in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India which claim to be the true descendants of the . There is even a Japanese Yashar'e'liym which claims some of the lost tribes migrated all the way to Japan. Why do all these groups want to be recognized as the true Yashar'e'liym? The Cepher says that the people of Yashar'el are Yahuah Elohiym chosen nation NOW Yahuah had said unto El-Avram, Get you out of your country, and from your kindred, and from your father's house, unto a land that I will show you: And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless you, and curse him that curses you: and in you shall all families of the earth be blessed. BERE'SHIYTH (GENESIS) 12:1-3 את CEPHER.
WHEN Yahuah Elohaykem shall bring you into the land whither you go to possess it, and has cast out many nations before you, the Chittiym, and the Girgashiym, and the Emoriym, and the Kena`aniym, and the Perizziym, and the Chivviym, and the Yevuciym, seven nations greater and mightier than you; And when Yahuah Elohayka shall deliver them before you; you shall smite them, and utterly destroy them; you shall cut no covenant with them, nor show mercy unto them: Neither shall you make marriages with them; your daughter you shall not give unto his son, nor his daughter shall you take unto your son. For they will turn away your son from following me, that they may serve other elohiym: so will the anger of Yahuah be kindled against you, and destroy you suddenly. But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their Asherah poles, and burn their graven images with fire. For you are a holy people unto Yahuah Elohayka: Yahuah Elohayka has chosen you to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth. Yahuah did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people: But because Yahuah loved you, and because he would guard the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, has Yahuah brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Phar'oh king of Mitsrayim. Know therefore that Yahuah Elohayka, he is Elohiym, the faithful El, which guards his covenant and mercy with them that love him and guard his commandments to a thousand generations; And repays them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hates him, he will repay him to his face. You shall therefore guard the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which I command you this day, to do them. Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken את to these judgments, and guard, and do them, that Yahuah Elohayka shall guard unto you the covenant and the mercy which he swore unto your fathers: DEVARIYM (DEUTERONOMY) 7:1-12 את CEPHER Whether or not any of the Black Ivriy / Jewish groups have Avraham ancestry is not the most important issue but what these groups believe is far more important than their ancestry. Each of these groups, to varying degrees, have beliefs that are unbiblical. Above everything else, the most crucial error is a misunderstanding of the Torah or in some cases denial, of who Ha'Mashiach Yahusha is, what He taught, and how His death and resurrection provide the way of repentance and salvation.
