THE SLAP FELT AROUND THE WORLD YA'AQOV (James) 1:16-26 CEPHER

Updated: Apr 12, 2022

What pressures circumstances and skeletons live in the closet of those who have accepted the world and all the riches that ba'al gives them? No one knows what lurks in the hearts of men and women except the Most High Elohim. The #2022oscars will be talked about and debated not for the exclusion of films and directors of diversity but the 30 second physical exchange between #willsmith and #chrisrock. We only get a glimpse of individuals who have been put on pedestals for the world to admire and Gawk at but what about their heart condition when circumstances show us their true nature. The power of media influencers has no boundaries to alter the narrative of #American culture but we must examine both individuals pass conduct to decide guilt or innocence but is it really up to us? No one is above reproach when we are created in sin and the moral compass has been broken over many generations. I'm not here to give my opinion just detail the facts as they are laid out. In 2016, Rock was hosting the Academy Awards. That particular year was controversial due to the lack of diversity among nominees for acting and directing categories, leading to some Hollywood names boycotting the event entirely, including Will and Jada. During his opening monologue, Rock addressed the couple in particular. "What happened this year? People got mad. People went mad," he said. "Jada went mad. Will went mad. Jada said she's not coming. And gonna boycott the Oscars.""Jada boycotting the Oscars is like me boycotting Rihanna's panties," Rock joked. "I wasn't invited." The #slapattheOscars between two grown men has sparked more concerned comments than homeless families sleeping in cars, thousands of teenagers killed every year in communities throughout America from violence and drug overdoses or the over saturated marketing of sodomy and sexual debauchery in television and cable programming. The incident at the Oscars is a stark reminder that a joke to one may be an insult to another. The envy and pursuit to achieve the limelight off the backs of others is nothing new when chasing that dream of riches and fame. In 2016, Rock, as host of the 88th Academy Awards ceremony, took a jab at Pinkett Smith in his opening monologue after she posted a video boycotting the Oscars due to their lack of diversity, At the time, Pinkett Smith brushed off Rock's comments.

"Hey look, it comes with the territory, we gotta keep it moving," she said after the 2016 ceremony. "We got a lot of stuff we gotta handle, a lot of stuff going on in our world right now. We gotta keep it moving." 2018, Will Smith posted a birthday tribute to his ex-wife Sheree Zampino. They share a 29-year-old son, Trey Smith. In the post he says "Happy Bday, @shereezampino. #BestBabyMamaEver! :-) I Love You, Ree-Ree," and Rock comments "Wow. You have a very understanding wife," prompting Zampino to respond, "Don't hate."

And concerning the question of idols, I command and admonish you to reject them and hate them, and love them not, for they are full of deception for those that worship them and for those that bow down to them. YOVHELIYM (JUBILEES) 36:5 את CEPHER When Will Smith slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars Sunday night, it sounded off a boom to be felt around the media news circuit and in Chris Rock bank account. The incident that rocked the comedian also sent his upcoming tour ticket sales soaring. TickPick, a ticket marketplace, said that its sales for Rock’s Ego Death tour have spiked since the Oscars. “We sold more tickets to see Chris Rock overnight than we did in the past month combined,” TickPick said in a Tweet. Ticket sales for Rock’s show in other cities also have ballooned. Rock currently has 38 dates set for his tour, with Las Vegas, Denver, Oakland, Seattle, New York and Toronto lined up to host his performance. Too many times we are influenced via media news outlets and cable television networks to think a certain way! to act a certain way! and to conduct ourselves a certain way without thinking about the moral and spiritual roadmap that is given to us. Let's not fall in the pit of deception and marketing strategies only to be misled by diabolical plans to change our path and support idols. This incident that was either staged to boost slumping ticket sales or protect the honor of a woman has everyone jumping on the bandwagon with something to say. We experienced this same media frenzy with President Trump, the COVID pandemic and now the slap that every news outlet both conservative and liberal are racking up views while increasing their advertising dollars. Now this is the true meaning of the term fake news.

This isn't about black man against black man but about what the public can believe and what the publicist can sell. Will Smith has come a long way and should be given props for his contribution in the entertainment industry. Chris Rock is a comedian and he thrives on the shock Factor and increasing his name in the public arena. But we must never forget that they are both born with frailties of mankind and gain wealth from public support even if it calls to act in a certain way outside your character.

For yet a little, and iniquity shall be taken away out of the earth, and righteousness shall reign among you. Let not the sinner say that he has not sinned: for Elohiym shall burn coals of fire upon his head, which says before Yahuah Elohiym and his glory, I have not sinned. Behold, Yahuah knows all the works of men, their imaginations, their thoughts, and their hearts: EZRA REVIY`IY (4 EZRA) 16:52-54 את CEPHER. All mankind sins and all mankind causes injury to one another. That injury can be caused by the tongue or by ones hands but all mankind egos are bruised by words that do not build up but break down. Brother and sisters do not be caught up but continue to look straight ahead for your salvation and redemption because egos are inflated with praise and deflated with insults like the wind that blows at night. Commune and study TORAH with us every Sabbath 10am in Oakland California
