JODECI REUNITES

Jodeci joins the P Music Group roster of clients that also include multiple award-winning R&B artists: Charlie Wilson, K-Ci Hailey, and Johnny Gill. Brothers DeVanté Swing, Mr. Dalvin joined with brothers K-Ci, and JoJo in 1991 signed with Uptown Records to release their debut album, Forever My Lady. Jodeci swept the charts throughout the 90s and their success within the music industry continued with the releases of Diary of a Mad Band (1993), and the The Show, the After Party, the Hotel (1995), where the group experimented with various musical styles typically not associated with traditional R&B. Jodeci would incorporate hip hop soul, gospel and new jack swing into their music. “The P Music Group family is thrilled to be working with Jodeci,” stated Paran. “Their music is a part of the soundtrack to our lives. As a fan myself, I know and share that feeling you get when you hear Jodeci and that special place it takes you to. Their fans have been anxiously awaiting their return and we are ready to show music lovers across the generations why they reign supreme as one of the most iconic R&B groups of all time.” “I’m excited for Jodeci to join P Music Group with Michael managing us. We’ve come a long way and it’s a blessing to be back together and give our fans what they’ve been asking for” stated K-Ci Hailey.

Michael Paran is a man with a plan, a vision and a mission! We’re looking forward to a great partnership” stated Mr. Dalvin. Jodeci represents the heart of 90’s R&B producing timeless seductive tracks such as “Forever My Lady,” “Freek’n You,” “Feenin’,” “Cry For You,” “Love U 4 Life,” and “Come & Talk to Me.” They became a group in their hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina in 1989 and were signed by the late Andre Harrell’s label, Uptown Records, in 1991. They achieved mainstream success in 1991 with their Billboard Hot 100 single, “Come & Talk To Me,” winning a Billboard Award (1992), followed by three #1 Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Albums, Forever My Lady, (1992), Diary of a Mad Band, (1994) and The Show, the After Party, the Hotel, (1995). They were inducted into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame in 2012. To date the group has sold more than 20 million albums worldwide.
